The 3rd S refers to SWEEPING or SHINING. It stresses the importance of cleaning the workplace and all equipment, and it clean, tidy and organized. It prescribes one to clean the work area after the end of each shift and to restore every item to its place. This makes it easy to know what goes where and ensures that everything is where it belongs. This designer poster acts as a depiction of the 3rd S: Seiso (i.e. Cleaning as Spic & Span). It explains how the 3rd S should be implemented and how it is going to help us at the workplace.
